SharpMettle ("we") provides interview readiness services for software engineers. This policy explains how we handle your personal data, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
When you request a free assessment, we collect your name, email address, current role, experience details, your answers to our intake questions, and your resume.
Solely to prepare and deliver your interview assessment — and, only if you separately opt in, to contact you about relevant job opportunities or placement support.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties. We do not use it for advertising.
Your data is stored in a dedicated, access-restricted business account protected by two-factor authentication. Only SharpMettle has access.
Your resume and intake details are deleted within 90 days of delivering your assessment, unless you ask us to keep them or opt in to placement contact.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@sharpmettle.dev. We respond within 7 working days. You may withdraw any consent the same way.
If you believe your data has been mishandled, contact hello@sharpmettle.dev with "Grievance" in the subject line. Concerns that remain unresolved may be escalated to the Data Protection Board of India, as provided under the DPDP Act.
